Private donors will cover city's costs for Lakers parade
fuck that. we can fundraise $1million from private donors in 24 hours so the lakers can have a parade, but god forbid any of these people donate so we can have school teachers or emergency services or housing for homeless families or anything stupid like that. but to support professional basketball - which is, at the end of the day, a corporate business more than anything - let’s get those dollars flowing!
these people’s priorities literally disgust me.
